“I aim to try and reconnect the urban youth with nature; with life and death.”
Adair Imrie, Australian visual artist and graduate of The National Art School in Sydney, Australia. Adair uses illustration and printmaking as her medium, primarily the crafts of etching and silk-screen printing.
Etching is a method involving the use of acid on exposed parts of a copper plate to create an engraved design. It is one of the most important techniques used by the old masters and is still popular as a medium today. Her work is also now available as clothing and apparel.
Adair is currently living and working in the German capital, Berlin.
